I am older now, and I wake up often during the night, unable to sleep. But I have found these to be sweet times with the Lord.
No one is making any noise, no one needs me, doing work would wake up the family. So I enjoy a quiet time with the Lord. A few nights ago we had an especially good time together.
I started at the beginning of the Bible and went until present times. God has used many people in His plan. None of them were perfect.
The plan is definitely there….glorify God. There are two main ways we, as His children, can do this: trust and obey.
If I have learned anything through the years, it is that God knows best.
When I commit something to Him, trust Him with the answer. Trust Him, even if it doesn’t make sense to me. Trust Him to do the impossible.
“The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.” Luke 18:27
Obey Him. We have a whole book that tells us how we should live: the Bible. God clearly tells us how we should live. Living by His Word makes us different.
“By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:35
1. You don’t have to be perfect, not even close.
2. Trust God no matter what.
3. Obey Him in every thing.
Remember , it is the childlike faith that Jesus praised.
